linda bassick and greg rothwell release “maples busy morning”

“Maple’s Busy Morning” is a collection of songs that tell the story of a young child’s morning, created by long time Burlington-based early educator/musician Linda Bassick. Written and performed with Greg Rothwell, the duo is backed by Eli Goldman on additional guitar/bass, with special guests from the Vermont Youth Symphony Orchestra; Marisa Kono, Celilo Bauman-Swain , and Nick Trevits. Recorded and mixed here at TRS, “Maple’s Busy Morning” follows the main character Maple through the day, beginning with their morning dream until their mid day nap. Coupled with the artwork of Jackson Tupper, the story is also taking on a visual form, eventually to become a fully animated music video.
