In 2020 Freeway Clyde were approached by indie French videographer Claude Louche to soundtrack his remake of the underground 1970 classic “Sept Etoile”. Long remaindered to cinema-graphic lore, the film (originally scored by Carlo N’biza) is remembered for it’s singular, graphic depiction of love, lust and struggle in 1940’s Algeria.

“Flight of The Starlings” marks his debut album of original material. The trumpeter is joined by drummer Geza Carr, upright bassist John Rivers, and pianist Michael Hartigan. With Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s, John Dunlop (cello), Matt LaRocca (viola), Brooke Quiggins Saulnier and Laura Markowitz (violins).
