VSO Holiday Pops 2021 At the flynn
It’s always so fun to record the Vermont Symphony Orchestra at the Flynn Theatre and this year’s “Holiday Pops” concert was no exception! VSO’s second Music Director candidate, Peter Askin, Conducted the orchestra for their holiday pop series, joined by indie-pop/opera soprano Melissa Wimbish. They performed holiday classics such as “Rocket Sleigh”, “White Christmas”, “The Nutcracker”, “Fleet ‘o Jesus” and the “Polar Express Concert Suite”.
Recently retired Chief Meteorologist Tom Messner of WNBC even joined the orchestra to conduct LeRoy Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride”!
